ADG659 is a 4 channel analogue multiplexer. The multiplexer switch has one of four differential inputs to a common differential output, as determined by the 2bit binary address lines A0 and A1. An EN input enables or disables the device. When disabled, all channels are switched off. This multiplexer has enhanced process that provides lower power dissipation and gives high switching speeds. It can operate equally well as either multiplexers or demultiplexers and have an input range that extends to the supplies. All channels exhibit break-before-make switching action, preventing momentary shorting when switching channels. This multiplexer is widely used in application such as automotive applications, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, battery-powered systems, communication systems, audio and video signal routing, relay replacement, sample-and-hold systems, industrial control systems etc.

- Differential 4-to-1 multiplexer, drain off leakage current is ±0.1nA typ at VD=±4.5V, VS=4.5V, 25°C
- TTL/CMOS compatible inputs, channel on leakage current is ±0.1nA max at +25°C
- Single supply voltage range is 2V to 12V, dual supply voltage range is ±2V to ±6V
- Input current is 0.005µA typ at +25°C, −3dB bandwidth is 400MHz typ RL=50 ohm, CL=5pF, +25°C
- Leakage current is <lt/>0.1nA, total harmonic distortion is 0.025% typ
- On resistance over full signal range is 45ohm at VS=±4.5V, IS=1mA, VDD=5V±10%, VSS=−5V±10%, GND=0V
- Typical power consumption is <lt/>0.1μW
- Package upgrade to 74HC4051/74HC4052 and MAX4051/MAX4052/MAX4581/MAX4582
- Packaging style is 16-lead thin shrink small outline package [TSSOP]
