The DK-LM3S801 is a development kit for LM3S801 MCU. The development kit provides both hardware and software tools that engineers need to begin development quickly. LM3S801 microcontroller offers the advantages of ARM's widely available development tools, system on chip (SoC) infrastructure IP applications, and a large user community. Additionally, the microcontroller uses ARM's thumb compatible thumb 2 instruction set to reduce memory requirements and, thereby, cost
- 32bit ARM Cortex-M3 v7M architecture optimized for small footprint embedded applications
- System timer (SysTick) provides a simple, 24bit clear on write, decrementing, wrap on zero counter
- Thumb compatible Thumb-2 only instruction set processor core for high code density
- 64KB single cycle flash with two forms of flash protection on a 2KB block basis
- 3 GPTM each configurable as one 32bit or two 16bit timers with capture and simple PWM modes
- Two fully programmable 16C550-type UARTs
- Three independent integrated analog comparators
- 3 PWM generator block, each with one 16bit counter, 2 comparators, PWM generator, deadband generator
- On chip LDO voltage regulator, with programmable output user-adjustable from 2.25V to 2.75V
- Supports I2C, SSI interface
