PESD1CAN-UX

The PESD1CAN-U from NXP is a CAN bus ESD protection diode in 3pin SOT-323 package. This device is designed to protect two automotive CAN (Controller Area Network) bus lines from damage caused by ESD and other transients. The PESD1CAN-U is suitable on lines where the signal polarities are both positive and negative with respect to ground.

• Automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified
• Low clamping voltage (VCL) of 35V at Ipp=1A
• Diode capacitance of 9.3pF at f= 1MHz and VR=0V
• ESD protection up to 23KV according to IEC 61000-4-2 level 4
• Rated peak pulse current (Ippm) of 3A according to IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) at tp=8/20μs
• Ambient temperature range from -55°C to 150°C
• Reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) of 24V
• Typical diode capacitance matching is 0.1%
• Breakdown voltage (Vbr) of 27.8V at IR=5mA
• Rated peak pulse power (Pppm) of 150W
