The 3580/40 SL005 is a 40-core unshielded Flat Cable with stranded tinned copper conductor and an extruded PVC insulator. The planar geometry of flat cable can save significant space in board-to-board and other interconnects within equipment or cabinets. The extruded flat cable features fast, easy mass termination with IDC connectors. It offers excellent signal transmission characteristics, with low capacitance, crosstalk and skew.
