AD5290 is a high voltage, high performance, and compact digital potentiometer. This device can be used as a programmable resistor or resistor divider. This device performs the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers, variable resistors, and trimmers, with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and superior temperature stability. With digital rather than manual control, the device provides layout flexibility and allows closed-loop dynamic controllability. It is widely used in application such as high voltage DAC, programmable power supply, programmable gain and offset adjustment, programmable filters and delays, actuator control, audio volume control, mechanical potentiometer replacement etc.

• 256 position, 3-wire SPI®-compatible serial interface

• Single-supply operation is +20V to +30V
• Dual-supply operation is ±10V to ±15V
• Low temperature coefficient is 35ppm/°C typical
