HMC997LC4

HMC997LC4 is a GaAs MMI C PHEMT analogue variable gain amplifier and/or driver amplifier. A gain control voltage (Vctrl) is provided to allow variable gain control up to 15dB. Gain flatness is excellent making the HMC997LC4 ideal for EW, ECM and radar applications. It is compatible with high volume surface mount manufacturing. Typical application includes point-to-point radio, point-to-multi-point radio, EW and ECM subsystems, Ka-band radar, test equipment.

• Single control voltage, no external matching
• Frequency range from 17 to 21GHz (TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V)
• Gain is 20dB (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Gain variation over temperature is 0.02dB/ °C (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Noise figure is 4.0dB (typ, TA = +25 °C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Input return loss is 13dB (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Output return loss is 17dB (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) is 24dBm (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• Saturated output power (Psat) is 25dBm (typ, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3 = 5V, 17 to 21GHz)
• 24 lead LCC-EP package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
