LT3960 is a robust high speed transceiver that extends I²C bus through harsh or noisy environments at upto 400kbps using the CAN-physical layer. One device sits near the I²C, creating from SCL and SDA equivalent differential buses (I²CAN) on two twisted pairs. At the other end of the twisted pairs, a second device recreates the I²C bus locally for any I²C devices. It is widely used in application such as industrial networking, automotive networking, remote sensors etc.
