LTM8020MPV#PBF

LTM®8020 is a complete DC/DC µModule regulator. Included in the package are the switching controller, power switches, inductor, and all support components. Only bulk capacitors are needed to finish the design. This meets the radiated emissions requirements of EN55022. Conducted emission requirements can be met by adding standard filter components. The low profile tiny package enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. Typical applications are automotive battery regulation, power for portable products, distributed supply regulation, industrial supplies, wall transformer regulation.

• Input DC voltage range from 4 to 36V (TA=25°C. VIN=10V, V active-low SHDN=10V, VBIAS=3V, COUT=4.7µF)
• Output DC voltage range from 1.2 to 5V (0 <lt/> IOUT ≤ 200mA; 167KW <lt/> RADJ <lt/> ∞)
• Current mode control
• Minimum allowable RADJ is 163Kohm
• Quiescent current into BIAS is 0.5µA maximum (active-low SHDN=0.2V, BIAS=0V)
• Output ripple (RMS) is 7.5mV typical (IOUT=100mA, VOUT=3.3V, VIN=24V)
• Switching frequency is 450KHz typical (IOUT=200mA)
• Output short-circuit current is 350mA typical (VIN=36V, VOUT=0V)
• 21-lead LGA package
• Temperature rating range from -55°C to 125°C
