MAX202ESE+

MAX202ESE+ is a RS-232 transceiver with 0.1µF external capacitor and integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. The drivers maintain the ±5V EIA/TIA-232E output signal levels at data rates in excess of 120kbps when loaded in accordance with the EIA/TIA-232E specification. Typical applications include battery-powered equipment, handheld equipment and portable diagnostics equipment.

• Two RS232 drivers, two RS232 receivers
• Four external capacitors of 0.1μF
• Charge pump circuitry eliminates the need for a bipolar ±12V supply
• VCC power-supply current is 6mA typical
• Temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
• Available in a 16 pin NSOIC package
