The 5.0SMDJ36A from Bourns is a 5000W, unidirectional, 5.0SMDJ series transient voltage suppression diode. Bourns offer transient voltage suppressor diodes for surge and ESD protection applications, in compact chip package DO-214AB (SMC) size format. Portable communications, computing and video equipment manufacturers are challenging the semiconductor industry to develop increasingly higher power density circuit protection components.
