IRDC3651

IRDC3651 is an evaluation board which features the IR3651SPBF synchronous PWM buck controller. Which drives a pair of external N MOSFETs using a programmable switching frequency that allows flexibility to tune the operation of the to meet system level requirements and synchronization allows the simplification of system level filter design. The timing of the IC is controlled by an internal oscillator circuit. This board has protection functions such as under voltage lockout and hiccup current limit are provided to give required system level security in the event of fault conditions. An output over current protection function is implemented by sensing the voltage developed across the on-resistance of the synchronous rectifier MOSFET for optimum cost and performance.
