Qspeed diodes have the lowest QRR of any Silicon diode. Their recovery characteristics increase efficiency, reduce EMI and eliminate snubbers. These features help designers improve the performance of their power conversion circuits. Qspeed diodes are ideal for continuous conduction mode (CCM) boost power factor correction circuits, and as output diodes for hard switching applications.
- Low QRR, Low IRRM, Low tRR increases circuit efficiency
- High dIF/dt capable (1000 A/µs)
- Enables extremely fast switching
- Soft recovery characteristic reduces EMI
- Eliminates need for snubber circuits
- Reduces EMI filter component size and count
