59140-4-T-02-F is a 59140 series miniature flange mount reed sensor occupying only 3.22cm² board space with normally closed contact. It operates through non-ferrous materials such as wood, plastic or aluminium. Reed contacts last for millions of operating cycles under micro-controller voltage and current logic-level loads. Ideally suited for position and limit sensing, security, window and door alarm systems and linear actuator position and limit sensing, security system switch, linear actuators, door switch applications. The 59140 functions best with the matching actuator 57140-000. It is approved by cURus (E61760) agency.
