The 172142 is a RF Connector, N-type series, N-type straight Crimp Plug with gold-plated brass contact and crimp contact termination. Body made up of brass with white bronze finish and PTFE insulator. N-type connector is designed to satisfy the need for a durable, weatherproof, medium-size RF connector with consistent performance through 11GHz. N-type connector feature threaded coupling mechanisms and is fully interchangeable with N-type connector made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. This connector is used in all systems where excellent RF and mechanical performance is critical. This RF connector is designed for RG-142, RG-223, RG-400 and RG-55 cable.
