Product Overview
The HEDS-5540#A06 is a 3-channel quick assembly Optical Incremental Encoder features high performance, high reliability, high resolution and easy to assembly. Each encoder contains a lensed LED source, an integrated circuit with detectors and output circuitry and a code wheel which rotates between the emitter and detector IC. The HEDS series utilizes metal code wheels, while the HEDM series utilizes a film code wheel allowing for resolutions to 500 CPR. This encoder may be quickly and easily mounted to a motor.
