Product Overview
The 25183 is a precision efficient and safe Fibre Optic Swab for cleaning fibre optic backplane bulkhead connections. Engineered to quickly and easily cleaning all 2.5mm connector end faces and alignment sleeves, this swab is made from proprietary micro porous foam that immediately absorbs oil and solvents from fibre surfaces. Adhesive and binder free, the 2.5mm precision fibre optic swab is manufactured under clean room standards. Wrapped foam swabs provides outstanding particle entrapment, captures contaminants from alignment sleeves and keeps them from being transferred to the back plane end face. Scientifically designed recessed head conforms to a connector face, with the right pressure for cleaning.
- Ideal for removing transmission disrupting contaminants in a bulkhead connector
- Flat head conforms to the various connector shapes cleans the conductor bulkhead corners inside the bulkhead pocket
- Cleans wet or dry to remove dirt and oil contamination
- Manufactured with a proprietary micro porous hydrophilic foam
- No glues are used in the manufacturing process minimizing leachable contaminants
- Head contains no weld seams that could scratch the optical conductor surface
