Product Overview
MAKER-OBJECT is a simplifying object sensor for beginners. It is a tiny digital infrared (IR) proximity sensor designed for object/obstacle detection. The IR signal is modulated at 38kHz makes it immune to the ambient light. The Maker Object has NPN output with an internal pull-up resistor. Its output is low when the object is detected. The sensing range is adjustable via the small opening at the front of the sensor. This makes it easily accessible even though the sensor is mounted on the robot. Applications include sumo robot, obstacle avoidance robot, auto gate safety sensor, parking lot occupancy sensor, entrance sensor...etc.
