BTS500201TADATMA2 is a 2.0mohm single channel smart high-side power switch providing protective functions and diagnosis. It features reverse ON functionality protecting the device in reverse polarity conditions (reverse battery). The power transistor is built by a N-channel power MOSFET with charge pump. It is specially designed to drive high current nominal loads up to 29A, for applications like switched battery couplings, power distribution switches, heaters, glow plugs, in the harsh automotive environment. It is suitable for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads and it replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits. It is mostly suitable for applications with high current loads, such as heating system, main switch for power distribution, start-stop power supply switch and PWM applications with low frequencies.
