Evaluation board for MA12070. Audio evaluation kit using highly power efficient analogue-input multilevel MERUS™ class D amplifier IC. Kit contains all hardware and software elements that are needed to evaluate the highly power efficient MERUS™ analogue input multilevel class D amplifier IC 2 x 80W (MA12070). The IC is specifically targeted for high performance filter-less and heatsink-free audio applications.
- Configurable number of audio channels: 2xBTL or 4xSE or 1xBTL+2xSE
- Analogue audio input format
- 18V to 26V max recommended supply voltage (PVDD) range
- Configurable, single-voltage-supply amplifier board
- PC programming interface board (with USB connection)
- Coils to be used in series with standard resistive loads for more accurate efficiency measurements
- Provides an easy-to-use test and validation setup for the MA12070 multilevel amplifier IC
- Allows users to experience the unique sound quality of a multilevel class D amplifier
- Facilitates accurate power efficiency and audio performance measurements
- Includes pre-recorded measurement data to help the user validate measurements from own test setup
