Evaluation board (EVB) uses TLE8080EM and its brand new companion IC TLE8082ES to provide a comprehensive motorcycle engine control design. The EVB provides an Arduino pinout form factor. It can be controlled with every Arduino compatible microcontroller board. It provides a control SW for 2 different MCU boards XMC1100 boot kit and Aurix ShieldBuddy TC275. TLE8082ES features 4 low side drivers for inductive loads with OTP and OCP and open load/short to GND in off diagnosis, 3 low-side power stages and 1 low-side power stage with current measurement feature (O2-heater). TLE8080EM features 4 low side driver for inductive loads with OTP and OCP and open load/short to GND in off diagnosis, 2 low side switches with max operation of 2.6A and 350mA, Window watchdog module, SPI and variable reluctance sensor (VRS) interface. Suitable for all automotive applications in particular motorcycles, 2- and 3-wheelers and scooters, watercraft, marines and jet-skis, snow mobiles.
