The MPLC series Metal Composite Inductor with the round wire coil. It is designed for low current applications. Note the lower ripple current rating of up to 15A, as compared to the MPC series 30A. However, the MPLC offers inductance up to 4.7μH as compared to 1μH for the MPC device. Like the MPC, there are two sub series one is MPLCG offers low loss or higher efficiency at lower current, while the other is MPLCH allows for higher current.

- Used as part of a filter or for energy storage
- High permeability for higher inductance with lower DC resistance
