SMCJ13A

SMCJ13A is a SMCJ series, uni-directional, TVS diode. It is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial and consumer electronics applications.

• Low dynamic resistance, glass passivated chip junction
• For surface mounted applications to optimize board space
• Typical failure mode is short from over-specified voltage or current
• IEC 61000-4-2 ESD 30kV(air), 30kV (contact)
• Plastic package is flammability rated V-0 per Underwriters Laboratories
• Recognized to UL 497B as an isolated loop circuit protector
• 13V reverse standoff voltage (TA=25°C)
• 15.90V max breakdown voltage, 1mA test current (TA=25°C)
• 21.5V maximum clamping voltage (TA=25°C)
• 69.8A max peak pulse current, 1µA max reverse leakage current (TA=25°C)
