EV04R09A is a dsPIC33CDVL64MC106 motor control development board that is designed to demonstrate the features of the dsPIC33CDVL64MC106 integrated motor driver. This dsPIC® DSC includes a 16bit digital signal controller with high-speed PWM, op amps and advanced analogue integrated with a 3-phase MOSFET gate driver and a LIN transceiver. This board is targeted to drive a low-voltage three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor or brushless DC motor (PMSM/BLDC motor). The board comes programmed to run dual-shunt FOC with PLL estimator using the Hurst BLDC motor as the out of the box demo.
- Input DC voltage: 12V to 24VDC, nominal phase RMS current: 10A at +25°C ambient temperature
- Motor phase current feedback to implement Field Oriented Control (FOC) of a PMSM/BLDC motor
- Phase voltage feedback to implement sensorless trapezoidal control
- Hall sensor interface or Quadrature Encoder Interface (QEI)
- PICkit™ On-Board (PKOB4) for programming and debugging
- User interface elements consisting of 3 LED’s, potentiometer and 2 push buttons
- Auxiliary power supply for powering circuitry and external interfaces
