The 8579-0-15-15-11-27-10-0 is a Pin Receptacle with 30μinch gold plated beryllium copper alloy contacts. Shell made of brass alloy (UNS C36000) as per ASTM B 16 standards. It accepts 0.015 to 0.020-inch diameter leads. The basic component used for making electrical connections in a wide array of electronic equipment is the pin receptacle. The pin receptacle provides a highly reliable, low resistance electrical path to terminate the pins of a device or discrete wires to a PCB or other mating apparatus such as cables, modules or other pins and wires.
