DHSB 5

The DHSB 5 is a sealed heat shrink Butt Splice made of tin-plated copper with yellow high density PE insulation. The heat shrinkable sealed splice providing a tough and long lasting environmental seal against immersion in solvents, oils, fluids and salt water. The wire insulation should be stripped to 8mm and then crimped into the ends of the butt splice. It feature hot air should then be applied to the sleeve until the tubing has shrunk to the cable size and the adhesive flows from the end of the splice, giving a fully sealed joint and additional strain relief. it accepts 12 to 10AWG wire.
