S08PB16-EVK is a cost-effective development hardware for the NXP S08PB and S08PLS 5V 8bit MCUs. This is small, yet powerful, with rich integrated peripherals to evaluate all features of S08PB and S08PLS MCUs. S08PB16-EVK supports OSBDM to flash program and run-control debug without an external debug tool. S08PB16-EVK provides an expansion board option, include FRDM-MC-LVBLDC for motor control. Supported devices are S08PLS: 8bit 5V MCU with streamlined features and S08PB: 8bit 5V full-featured MCU with rich analogue.
- 20MHz MC9S08PB16VTJ MCU, 16KB flash memory, 1KB RAM, 2.7 to 5.5V voltage
- MCU: -40 to 105°C temperature and 20 pin TSSOP package
- USB interface with micro-B USB connector connectivity
- Onboard debug circuit: MC9S08JM60CLD (OSBDM) with a virtual serial port
- On-board components RGB LED, potentiometer, two user push-buttons
