S12ZVMBEVB is a S12ZVMB full H-bridge BLDC/PMSM evaluation board. The S12ZVMB is a development board for the S12 MagniV® S12ZVM 16-bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVMB integrates a MCU with an S12Z core, a 5 V voltage regulator, a LIN physical layer and a gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 4 power MOSFETs and is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps.
- MCU: S912ZVMBA6 in 48 LQFP, 64KB in flash
- Connector interface for 2-phase DC, BLDC, or PMSM motor and USB-to-SCI interface
- LIN connector, hall-sensor interface and connector
- Shunt resistors for current sensing
- Built-in OSBDM debugger
- Components: 1 gen-purpose potentiometer, 4 LED, 4 push buttons, 1 HVI push button and potentiometer
