S12ZVMC256EVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV® S12ZVM 16-bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVM integrates an MCU with an S12Z core, a 5V voltage regulator, a CAN physical layer and a gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs and is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps.
- S12ZVM mixed-signal MCU for automotive and industrial motor control applications
- USB-to-SCI interface
- Hall-sensor interface and connector
- Shunt resistors for current sensing on up to three phases and common DC link
- One general-purpose potentiometer, two LEDs, two push buttons and one switch
- Connector interface for 2-phase (DC) or 3-phase (BLDC or PMSM) motor
- CAN connector
- Resolver interface and connector
- Built-in OSBDM debugger
