The L7824ACV is a positive voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-220 package. This fixed regulator can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation. Each type embeds internal current limiting, thermal shut-down and safe area protection making it essentially indestructible.
- Input supply voltage range from 33V to 40V
- 24V output voltage
- Output current up to 1.5A
- Thermal overload protection
- Short circuit protection
- Output transition SOA protection
- Supply voltage rejection of 54dB at VI = 28V to 38V, f = 120Hz, IO = 500mA
- Dropout voltage of 2V at IO = 1A, TJ = 25°C
- Output resistance of 20mohm at f = 1KHz
