L78L33ACZ

L78L33ACZ is a L78L series, three-terminal positive regulator that employs internal current limiting and thermal shutdown, making it essentially indestructible. If adequate heat-sink is provided, it can deliver up to 100mA output current. It is intended as fixed voltage regulator in a wide range of applications including local or on-card regulation for elimination of noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. In addition, it can be used with power pass elements to make high-current voltage regulators. The L78L series used as Zener diode/resistor combination replacement, offers e improvement along with lower quiescent current and lower noise.

• Load regulation is 60mV maximum at (IO = 1 to 100mA, TJ = 25°C)
• Quiescent current is 6mA maximum at (TJ = 25°C)
• Output noise voltage is 40µV typical at (B = 10Hz to 100KHz, TJ = 25°C)
• Supply voltage rejection is 49dB typical at (VI= 6.3 to 16.3V, f = 120Hz, IO = 40mA, TJ = 25°C)
• Dropout voltage is 2V typical at (TJ = 0 to 125°C), 3.3V output voltage
• Storage temperature range from -65 to 150°C
