1.5KE400CA

The 1.5KE400CA from Taiwan Semiconductor is a 1.5KE series bidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It has excellent clamping capability and low dynamic impedance. The leads are pure tin plated and solderable per JESD22-B102. It also meets JESD 201 class 2 whisker test.

• Peak power dissipation of 1500W at TA = 25°C, TP = 1ms and nominal voltage of 400V
• Peak forward surge current (Ifsm) of 200A (8.3ms single half sine wave super imposed on rated load)
• Steady state power dissipation of 5W at TL = 75°C
• Operating junction temperature range from -55°C to +175°C
• Stand-off voltage of 324V and maximum reverse leakage current of 1μA
• Breakdown voltage of 360V (minimum), 440V (maximum) and test current of 1mA
• 2.7A maximum peak surge current and 574V maximum clamping voltage
• Less than 5ns fast response time from 0V to VBR and 0.11%/°C maximum temperature variation
