A highly efficient test tool for quickly locating short circuits on PCBs. The unit is designed as an aid for finding the most difficult fault on PCBs which is a short across two tracks that travels across a large a part of the board e.g. ICs. The unit emits an audible tone that reduces in frequency as the short is approached and increases in frequency as the probe is moved away.
- Audible tone via built-in buzzer or headphone socket (headphones not supplied)
- Adjustable resistance 0 to 250mΩ
- Battery operated
