The PR01 series from Vishay are automotive grade power metal film leaded resistors. The resistance range includes E24, E96 decade values from 0.22ohm to 1Mohm. A homogeneous film of metal alloy is deposited on a high grade ceramic body. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned connecting wires of electrolytic copper is welded to the end-caps. The resistors are coated with a red, non flammable lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. This coating is not resistant to aggressive fluxes and cleaning solvents. Typical applications include all general purpose power applications, automotive electronics and lighting ballast.

• Available in ±1% and ±5% resistance tolerance values
• Temperature coefficient is ±250ppm/K

• Thermal resistance is 135K/W
• Operating voltage is 350V
