VCNL4020-SB

VCNL4020-SB is an evaluation board for VCNL4020 fully integrated proximity and ambient light sensor with infrared emitter, I2C interface and interrupt function. The proximity function includes built-in infrared emitter and photo-pin-diode, 16bit effective resolution for proximity detection range, programmable LED drive current from 10mA to 200mA in 10mA steps, excellent ambient light suppression by signal modulation, proximity distance up to 200mm). The proximity sensor is suitable for mobile devices for touch screen locking, power saving, proximity/optical switch for consumer, computing and industrial devices and displays, dimming control for consumer, computing and industrial displays. Ambient light function includes built-in ambient light photo-pin-diode with close-to-human-eye sensitivity, 6bit dynamic range from 0.25lx to 16klx and 100Hz and 120Hz flicker noise rejection. The integrated ambient light function for display/keypad contrast control and dimming of mobile devices.
