VS-40CTQ045-M3 is a high performance schottky rectifier. It has been optimized for very low forward voltage drop, with moderate leakage. The proprietary barrier technology allows for reliable operation up to 150°C junction temperature. This high purity, high temperature epoxy encapsulation for enhanced mechanical strength and moisture resistance. Typical application is switching power supplies, converters, freewheeling diodes, and reverse battery protection.

• Guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long term reliability
• Designed and qualified according to JEDEC®-JESD 47
• Maximum average forward current is 20A (per leg, 50% duty cycle at TC = 116°C, rectangular waveform)
• Maximum DC reverse voltage is 45V, VF at IF is 0.48V
• Maximum reverse leakage current per leg is 150mA (VR = rated VR, TJ = 125°C)
• Non-repetitive avalanche energy per leg is 20mJ (TJ = 25°C, IAS = 3A, L = 4.4mH)
• Threshold voltage is 0.27V (TJ = TJ maximum)
• Typical series inductance per leg is 8.0nH (measured lead to lead 5mm from package body)
• TO-220 package, maximum junction and storage temperature range from -55 to +150°C
