The ECS100 series is a single output enclosed medical Power Supply designed to minimize the no load power consumption (0.5W) and maximize efficiency in order to facilitate equipment design to the latest environmental legislation. Approved for class I and class II applications in an industry standard 2 x 4" (51 x 102mm) footprint with height of 1.2" (31mm) for 1U applications. The power supply meets EN55022 level B emissions with low earth leakage current and is dual-fused for compliance with IEC60601-1. Efficiency is 88% typical, so minimal excess heat is generated. The ECS100 requires only 10CFM of cooling to delivers a full 100W of power up to 50°C and operates at up to 70°C with derating or 80W when convection cooled up to 50°C with operation to 70°C with derating.
