The RDQ range consist of 100W and 150W brick style DC-DC converters. They were designed for railway applications and have an input voltage range of 66V to 160VDC (110VDC nominal). The RDQ100 series is packaged in an industry standard quarter brick format while the RDQ150 range is a half brick size. Both series have a very high efficiency of up to 92% and single outputs of 12V, 24V or 28VDC. A trim pin allows the output voltage to be adjusted by ±10% and all models include remote on/off and remote sense as standard features. They utilize baseplate cooling and with a suitable heatsink and appropriate airflow can operate over a wide baseplate temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. Isolation voltage is 2250VDC from input to output and input to case and 1500 VDC from output to case. The output is tightly regulated to within ±0.2% maximum under all line and load conditions. Up to 4 modules can be connected in parallel for current sharing requirements.
