89120-0103 is a 20-way 2-row 0.100 x 0.100-inch wire-to-board IDC socket for 0.050-inch pitch ribbon cable with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts. This 891 series socket comes with glass filled polyester (PBT) insulation and accommodates 28/26AWG stranded wire. It has military polarization with centerbump and strain relief. Bumps are designed to prevent premature latch locking during shipment. Double-recessed cover is for cable terminating from either side virtually eliminating the need for single-recessed cover connectors.
