SGX-DX05A is a dewpoint sensor. Since heating and cooling consume a significant amount of energy, the efficiency of climatization becomes more and more important, especially with upcoming electric battery-powered transportation. The key to efficiency is a precise measurement of the climatic properties the system has to control. This humidity sensors that provide accurate measurements of air dew point, humidity, and air temperature. It is made to operate in harsh climate conditions inside the air flow channel of road vehicles and comes with strong protection against splash water, dust, vibration, and electric disturbances. It measures the temperature T(°C) and relative humidity RH(%) of the air flow.
