AD5423 is a single-channel, 16bit current/voltage output DAC with HART connectivity. It operates with a power supply range from -33V minimum on AVSS to +33V maximum on AVDD1. The CHART pin enables a Highway Addressable Remote Transducer® (HART) signal to be coupled on the current output. It uses a versatile, 4-wire, serial peripheral interface (SPI) that operates at clock rates of upto 50MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, digital signal processor (DSP), and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also features an optional SPI cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and a watchdog timer (WDT). This offers improved diagnostic features from earlier versions of similar DACs, such as an integrated, 12bit diagnostic analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Application includes process control, actuator control, channel isolated analogue outputs, programmable logic controller (PLC) and distributed control systems (DCS) applications, HART network connectivity.

• Integral nonlinearity range from -0.006 to +0.006% FSR (all ranges, TA = -40°C to +115°C)
• 32 lead LFCSP package, industrial operating temperature range from -40°C to +115°C
