AD9252 is an octal, 14-bit, 50MSPS ADC with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. Typical application includes medical imaging and non-destructive ultrasound, portable ultrasound and digital beam-forming systems, quadrature radio receivers, diversity radio receivers, tape drives and optical networking test equipment.

• 8 analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) integrated into 1 package
• 93.5mW ADC power per channel at 50MSPS
• SNR = 73dB (to Nyquist), ENOB = 11.84bits and SFDR = 84dBc (to Nyquist) at fIN = 19.7MHz
• DNL = ±0.4LSB (typical); INL = ±1.5LSB (typical)
• Serial LVDS (ANSI-644, default) and low power, reduced signal option (similar to IEEE 1596.3)
• Data and frame clock outputs and 325MHz full power analogue bandwidth
• 2V p-p input voltage range and 1.8V supply operation
• Serial port control: flexible bit orientation and built-in custom digital test pattern generation
• Programmable clock and data alignment, power-down and standby modes
• 64 lead LFCSP package, operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
