HMC-C019

HMC-C019 is a high speed, high isolation GaAs MESFET SPST switch housed in a miniature hermetic module with field replaceable SMA connectors. This non-reflective switch exhibits very fast switching speeds, with very low switching transients making it ideal for high speed RF pulse modulation applications. Typical application includes basestation infrastructure, fibre optics and broadband telecom, microwave radio and VSAT, military radios, radar and ECM, test instrumentation.

• Insertion loss is 3.0dB (typ, DC - 4GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdc1, Vdc2 = +5V & 0/+5V)
• Isolation is 100dB (typ, DC - 4GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdc1, Vdc2 = +5V & 0/+5V)
• Return loss RF1 & RF2 is 12dB (typ, “on state and off state”, TA = +25°C
• Input power for 1dB compression is 23dBm (typ, 0.5 - 20GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Input third order intercept is 45dBm (typ, 0.5 - 10GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Switching characteristics is 2.5ns (typ, DC - 20GHz, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF))
• Switching transients is 20mVpp (typ, DC - 20GHz, TA = +25°C)
• 16 lead LFCSP-EP package, operating temperature range from -55 to +85°C
