HMC1082LP4E is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC driver amplifier with an integrated temperature compensated on-chip power detector which operates between 5.5GHz and 18GHz. This amplifier provides 22dB of gain, +35dBm output IP3, and +24dBm of output power at 1dB gain compression, while requiring 220mA from a +5V supply. It is an ideal driver amplifier for a wide range of applications including point-to-point radio from 5.5GHz to 18GHz and marine radar at 9GHz. It may also be used for 6GHz to 18GHz EW and ECM applications. It is used in applications such as point-to-point radios, point-to-multi-point radios, VSAT & SATCOM, military EW & ECM etc.

• Gain variation over temperature is 0.015dB/°C typ at (TA = +25°C, 17GHz to 18GHz)
• Input return loss is 7.5dBm typ at (17GHz to 18GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Output return loss is 17.5dB typ at (TA = +25°C, 17GHz to 18GHz)
• Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
• Package style is 24-lead SMT
