LTM8060 is a quad, 3A step-down Silent Switcher μModule® regulator. The silent switcher architecture minimizes EMI while delivering high efficiency at frequencies upto 3MHz. Included in the package are the controllers, power switches, inductors, and support components. Operating over a wide input voltage range, this device supports output voltages from 0.8V to 8V, and a switching frequency range of 200KHz to 3MHz, each set by a single resistor. Only the bulk input and output filter capacitors, are needed to finish the design. It is used in application such as automated test equipment, industrial supplies, medical equipment etc.

• CISPR22 class B compliant, CISPR25 class 5 compliant
• Wide input voltage range is 3V to 40V
• 3A continuous output current per channel at 12VIN, 3.3VOUT, TA = 80°C
• Multiphase or multi-μModule parallelable for increased output current
• Quiescent current into VINn is 8μA maximum at (RUNn = 0)
• Output RMS ripple is 10mV typical at (3.3VOUTn, IOUTn = 4A)
• Output DC voltage is 0.8V typical at (FBn open)
• Operating junction temperature is -40°C to 125°C
• Package style is 165-lead BGA
