MAX7312ATG+

The MAX7312ATG+ is a 2-wire interfaced 16bit I/O port expander with interrupt and hot insertion protection in 24 pin TQFN package. It provides 16bit parallel I/O port expansion for SMBus and I2C applications. The MAX7312 consists of input port registers, output port registers, polarity inversion registers, configuration registers, bus timeout register and I2C compatible serial interface logic (compatible with SMBus). It is used in servers/blades, RAID systems and PLCs.

• Automotive temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
• 400Kbps I2C compatible serial interface
• 5V overvoltage tolerant I/Os
• SCL clock frequency of 400KHz and bus timeout period of 61ms
• Bus timeout for lock-up free operation
• Noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs and polarity inversion
• Low standby current of 2.9μA at V+ = 3.3V
