BTS72004EPAXUMA1 is a smart high-side power switch, that provides protection functions and diagnosis. This device is integrated in SMART7 technology. It is suitable for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads, it replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits, driving capability suitable for 1A loads (including relays) and high inrush current loads such as R5W lamps or equivalent electronic loads (e.g. LED modules).

• High-side switch with diagnosis and embedded protection
• Switch ON capability while inverse current condition (InverseON)
• Absolute and dynamic temperature limitation with controlled restart
• Overcurrent protection (tripping) with intelligent restart control
• Undervoltage shutdown, overvoltage protection with external components
• Proportional load current sense, open load in ON and OFF state
• Short circuit to ground and battery, AEC-Q100 grade 1 qualified
• Switch-ON slew rate is 0.6V/μs typical at (VS = 13.5V, VOUT = 30% to 70% of VS)
• Junction temperature range from -40°C to 150°C
• PG-TSDSO-14 package
