CYUSBS232 is a USB to UART LP reference design kit. This RDK is an easy-to use kit, which showcases the unique features of CY7C65213, Cypress's USBUART LP Bridge Controller. This device is a full-speed USB-UART low-power bridge controller supporting the 8-pin UART serial interface and USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) compliant battery charging detection (BCD) specifications. The USB-UART LP bridge controller is ideal for applications such as portable medical devices (like blood-glucose meters), point-of-sales terminals, serial cables (including USB-to-UART and RS232 cables) and many other applications requiring USB connectivity.
