The EVALM10565DTOBO1 from Infineon is a power board, a complete power stage to drive 3-phase motor powered by IRSM505-065DA2 µIPM DIP. The IRSM505-065DA2 is a 2.6A, 500V Integrated Power Module (IPM) designed for advanced appliance motor drive applications such as energy efficient fans and pumps. The EVAL-M1-05-65D evaluation board is a part of the iMOTION Modular application design kit for drives (iMOTION MADK). It provides a single-phase AC-connector, rectifier, DC-link and 3-phase output for power. It contains emitter-shunts for current sensing and a voltage divider for DC-link voltage measurement. This evaluation board in combination with either EVAL-M1-1302 or EVAL-M1-099M features and demonstrates Infineon’s IPM technology for motor drive.
