IRPP3637-06A

IRPP3637-06A is a POWIR+ chipset reference design board which features the IR3637ASPBF synchronous PWM controller and IRF8910PBF MOSFET. This board is targeted at low cost, low power synchronous buck applications up to 6A output current. IR3637ASPBF has under voltage lockout for both input supplies an external programmable soft start function as well as output under voltage detection that latches off the device when an output short is detected. Amplified error signal from the sensed output voltage and the reference voltage compared to a fixed frequency linear sawtooth ramp and generates fixed frequency pulses of variable duty cycle which drives the two N channel external MOSFETs. The timing is controlled by an internal oscillator circuit. This board has 600kHz switching frequency allows the selection of reduced size power components.
