The C44P-R capacitor is a polypropylene metallized film capactior with a cylindrical, aluminium can-type design filled with a soft, vegetable oil-based, polyurethane resin. It uses screw terminals, a plastic insulator, and an overpressure safety device. Typical applications include commutation, power factor correction, and AC harmonic filtering.
